To double chec, ,see if there is continuity between the other ground pins and 30. If the injector earth does not have continuity with 30 than that makes sense!
That is what it reads like, I will pop off the glovebox and have a look.

    Thank you for your patience

27/55- Switched Power to ECU from power (+12V) - BK/G - from Terminal 15 under the knee bolster - 15A circuit breaker, BK in BK/G out - S64

Has 12v with the ignition on.

18/55- Constant power supply to ECU J220 - R/R- from power terminal 30 (+12V) Fuse S26 (5A) - passenger footwell as shown HERE, in this above ECU fuse panel call-out post). This constant power also feeds the Holding Relay for its work during start-up and shut-down.

    Has 12v

Where does 30/55- Ground for ECU and ECU sensors - G/BK (See details with a listing of the seven devices grounded through Pin T55/30) go?

Sounds like quite a large voltage drop from battery to actuators.
I have tried a spare fuel pump relay.

It will spin the engine over at good speed no bother, are you thinking something may be rather voltage sensitive?

I do not appear to have continuity between

30/55- Ground for ECU and ECU sensors - G/BK (See details with a listing of the seven devices grounded through Pin T55/30)

    and the engine or chassis?

You could try a jump lead to earth the engine to the chassis temporarily in case that an issue.
As it worked before, something has either come off or gone pop!
Battery voltage is 12.4 in the boot.

Continuity between intake manifold and the ECU plug

10/55- One of the Grounds for the ECU -BR/R
19/55- Ground from the ECU for various ECU controlled devices - BR/R - to intake manifold
24/55- Power Ground for "actuators" other than injectors - Not found in Bentley, presume BR/R, ground to intake manifold

    I have continuity between the ecu pin and the IM bolt for;

14/55-Ground for Fuel Injectors (N30-83)- BR/W - ground on intake manifold

    Hi Eric

I dont know I am afraid.

Could easily be a checksum error from the software.

Bad earth would also make sense.

andy, maybe you can adapt the coding in ecu with vagcom
I think the ecus are the same, its just the software in the chips that is different.

This should be a RS2 spec ecu now.
