I got a pair of Bosch ones from my local motor factor, they were not overly expensive.

Since replacing the knock sensor and after a couple more map updates from Dmitri I have now logged a WOT 3rd gear pull from 2k to 7k with no knock

I am always tempted by bikes, but based on how I ride a jump bike on the road it would be a bad idea

Got some work done on the coupe today.

My list of jobs is:
1/ Change rad to new alloy one from Vidar. Got the old leaky one removed.
Need to drill the brackets for the fan cowling.
Need to decide 3B fan (cowling rusty so needs blasting, painting, wiring needs sorting as it's been extended at some point in a horrible way)
Or ABY fan (cowling plastic) but will also need resistor pack and wiring mods which I don't really understand how to do. And will it clear the ABS pump, especially as the ali rad is thicker than stock.

Advice welcome on this subject.

2/ Fit new AN + braided turbo oil feed line from Terrybullwon. Got the old one off, end fittings were rusted, crimps actually split.
But the feed flange sheered off, crappy 034 aluminium part so have to wait for a new one.

3/ Fit new front knock sensor, was surprised to find this one split as well. Job done and wiring tidied up.

4/ Replace leaky steering rack with another second hand one. Not started this job yet, I know it's a world of pain.. wondering whether to just get the replacement rebuilt as I don't ever want to have to do it again.

5/ I think there are more jobs, like painting the sunroof panel, maybe the roof and the laquer is peeling on the bonnet.

6/ Oh Yeah.. Still need to fit the Andy Casey rear brake upgrade but still waiting for calipers to arrive from Dominator.

ABY rad fan will fit with stock rad - just.
I think you might struggle with a thicker core.
