The car is still under the knife. The hold up has been and continues to be a custom billet crank of the 92.8 variety that is done but is awaiting the final engineering/fabrication of the pulley assembly.

There are no drawings it was a one-off project. The tubular subframe was fabricated to support the new triple anchoring system for the motor, to strengthen a weak area of chassis stiffness, to move the motor back and down a bit, to lighten the front end, and to improve turn-in performance and handling. We'll see if it works out.

The long and inglorious wait for my billet 92.8 stroker crank is almost over. It was ready over 2 months ago but this crazy weather that the US East Coast has been suffering through delayed things even further. The tracking info I have shows it arriving on Friday. Here's a cel phone pic for the curious. I am so looking forward to getting back to the build.
