Never too take for questions They're H&R springs, think about 40mm drop all around but I dont know what rates (dont think theres any option with them).

They were another surprise component on the car when i stripped her. Since then i've had them blasted and painted back to their original colour. Another surprise was the RS2 FARB

                        • I'd spin it over without the sparkplugs in until you have oil pressure. As it's been stood for so long the engine will be dry and this way you'll get oil all round the engine without stressing it.

Do a head count of the tools, spanners etc that you have been using - make sure they're not knocking about in the engine bay (don't ask)

                              • Best thing to do if you've been working on it all day is close the garage and leave it over night to give yourself fresh eyes, and a load more patience if it doesn't fire right away!
Check all your plugs & connections, all hose clips nipped up, things on right etc.
Agree with Andy, turn it over for 20-30 seconds with the fuel pump disabled & plugs out till you see good oil pressure, will also lube the bores up nice so you get good compression from the off with the plugs back in.
