Haha yea. In fact I was shitted in the eye, as the previous owner told the belt was changed 7k km ago. They have put in a really old and crappy belt then.

Nick, it's 1.6 16v gasoline. I'm trying to get it repaired for under 100e, hope not all valves are bend. Will take off the head today. It snapped on highway at 100km/h, so there are a big chance that all valves look like this:

And doesn't that say something about how far merc quality has fallen. Didn't they learn anything with the cheep steel in the old e class causing rust issues. Dam accounts running engineering companies.

As I know everyone are waiting to see the Renault head/valves I just put a pic of them here. Maybe two valves are good to use.

I have now got several thumb up's of other people when driving in the traffic. Latest was today from a Nissan/Datsun driver. I suspect the sound of the car is somehow provocating, and propably there are people that got the feelings of an old I5er.

i'm kinda like how your car is sitting now.the stance of the car with the CHs' wheels filled up the wheelwell is my taste.thumbs up mate.
I'm thinking it might be the good time to adjust my coilover down now lol.

Thanks pop. I'm also satisified with the stance. A little bit of rubbing somewhere, but the wheels are little oversized.

Had little time today, so I did mount the pre-charge-cooler.
