This MaxxECU should just be so much better ecu than VEMS in many ways. Got a nice deal, of the AAN PnP version, with our Finnish reseller JLParts, so couldn't resist. Also a tuner here told it is really simpple, easy and fast to setup and tune, and so it looks when looking at the Mtune software. For example there is a lot of different injectors data pre-setted in the software. Both my EV14 1200cc and EV1 1700cc are present in the drop down menu.

Really looking forward because till today I did not see anyone home tune these ECUs with success. BTW the trigger error goes away once you adjust the trigger pin distance to the sensor.

Well, the trigger error fix was a joke. I could have resolved it 100% with the Lupo 60-2 trigger.

Home tune? I don't have the skills to tune any ecu, so it doesn't matter. But anyway, I don't really see why this would be difficult to home tune, because all I have heard everyone that understands mapping can tune these. The basic tables are just like all others stand alone ecu tables.

I suppose with you having issues with your vems this makes sense. I had lots of trigger errors until I sorted my flywheel and pin out. What are you doing with your old ecu.... pm me.

First priority is to get the handbrake finished and working, and car MOTed. Havn't have much time for other things. Did make a bigger valve though. Old one was 70mm, new one 86mm. Recieved also a small intercooler for pre-cooling between the supercharger and turbo. Only need to get everything fitted...
