which actuator are you going to use for the exhaust valve,electric or with a turbo waste gate actuator maybe?

Also was that AP racing clutch custom built for the Audi
or were they being sold for our cars at some point in time.

Nick, the turbo may theoreticly be a 900hp turbo, but how much for real, I don't know..? It is quite old school after all. I was going with Pro52 turbo(1300e), but then I found this for 300e so I wanted to try it. Quite easy to change later if not happy. I was thinking of a pressure/vacuum actuator for the valve, it could be operated with exhaust backpressure.

OrginalS60, the block is an AEL/D5252T. The clutch is an basic 7.25" twin with Bling factory 3.9kg flywheel. http://www.blingfactory.fi/epages/vi...cts%2FBF200101

The release bearing has a custom 01E fitting plate and a bushing to fit the pressure plate right. Did buy the whole kit used, PnP for AAN.

Nice stroker projekt! Are you going to use supercharger also with new setup? Interesting to see how works the exhaust valve. Looks good!

thomas i think the turbo is to big for a I5 20V engine. it is very laggy and a minimal powerband.

K27 with #13 housing and with a good compressor wheel is good for more than 800hp....

for me a K31 is senseless

What spec would that custom K27 be, must be some $hybrid$ turbo? No way a stock would be good to 800hp. K31 shouldn't be more laggier than a Holset pro55.

I'm still going to use the supercharger, and with the quick spool valve a #20 divided housing would be size #10 at the spoolup range. Of course there is a chance that this is a really bad turbo, and may not work good enough on a I5, but can't tell if not trying it.
