The idea was to mount the caliper higher up, stright, but these calipers can't be done so. The caliper fitting "ear" hit the hub carrier, can be seen in the posted pics. Also have to leave room for the e-brake caliper(and use it with stock wires). The upper control arm fitting eat most of the space.

Interresting, but you don't have any e-brake in that setup I guess ?1995 Audi S6 - AAN (~350hp)

I understand, but the idea and design is really really good thinking...The idea was to mount the caliper higher up, stright, but these calipers can't be done so. Recieved the brakepads today. Mintex brand, no racing pads, but hope that they are equal to OEM pads..?

Front begins to be ready for testing

Ok Pop, great to know. We will see next summer how they perform...
BTW, recieved the custom HX40 fully rebuild. Hope it last longer now...

Racing seats seems to be shipped, so they should be here in a week or so. Did also order racing belts, so maybe there is need for a roll cage now..?

I'm not afraid of sqeeking brake noise. Only hope they can take beating on track without loosing too much brake power. And would be nice if they last a couple of track days.

My friend did turn the slick tyres on the wheels. Was quite hard to get them seated properly, two of them did "bang" on at 5.5bar. Tyre size 250/650/18. Ready for the summerparty... hope nothing isn't ripped of at high speed cornering.

Did also recieve the seats. Not 100% pleased with the finish, lots of wrinkles on the vinyl. Have to see if a heat gun can smoothen them some. Still waiting on the belts...

Thanks Mike, am I so predictable?
Thats nice to hear, have you dynoed it yet?
Got the rear coils fitted today. Had to do a small extension to the top mount. DIY poly bushes and big washers holds it in place.

Lower mount, needed a bore from 10mm to 12mm and some nice thick "washers".

Have to lift the car some, because there isn't much more room for compress... Front is bad. Shorter strut and shock cartridge would have been nice.

Rear seems to be ok.

This is how the UrS looks now with this drop.

Rear wheel with @Brembo inside.
