It will mean i have to move the steering arm up the strut by 50mm to keep the same geometry. Outer steering ends will be rose joint so i hpoe to adjust bump steer there

Agree with above, keep an eye on the atitude of the chassis, weight transfer and rebound are critical for cars on mixed surfaces. You're better off controlling the weight transfer early on in the design, then tune in the chassis dynamics...

thanks ian, yes ive been mindfull of the balance and iam hoping by keeping the nose up it should help. All the old vids you see they look like boats(nose up ) under accelaration and besides the roads here arent great so it might help to save the front apron. I will be using custom MCA struts which are as good if not better than proflex in my opinion so adjustment will be avaliable.
one thing i do need is a app weight for the axles as a starting point?? anyone help, even the factory weights of a sport would help.
      thanks

the wheels in the first photo of the thread are the 18" team dynamic wheels which the car came with, the other shot shows geniue works gravel wheels. There the stupid 390mm/15.5" ones.Iam going to run A4/A6 5 spoke 15" wheels for the moment but ive been looking for a rep of the works ones but cant find any. Ive looked into getting some made but it will have to be later as iam hoping to have a drive later in the year. After that ill look at it more
          thanks

Need to check when going to the garage today, a bit of a hangover so I cant remember But I think they're mounted on the underside of the subframes.

Edit: They are mounted from under.
