Clear the codes and drive it again.
Lambda correction exceeded might be an air leak

Abs light off. Must have been the sensor not seated properly.
I cleared the lambada code and it hasn’t come back.
I spent most of the day on the pesky bonnet release. I got one side to work but the retainer spring on the drivers side just seems to strong. I’ve adjusted everything a few times without luck.
This is the temporary opener!
I went through all the lights and controls to check before the mot.
Neither front or rear washer was working. Rear was easy. No water.
The front was more difficult. All relays and fuses good. I had voltage at the motor. Tried hot wire to motor but nothing. Strangely, I had two spare motors but both are slightly different. So, took it all apart and found water and corrosion inside. Gave it all a good clean with wd40 and put it back together. Hurray, it’s working.
Now I just need to fix the bonnet release then I’m good to go for the mot.

I had similar issues with my bonnet due to the numerous times I'd had the slam panels on and off, there's quite a lot of movement(adjustment) in them. I ended up taking the bumper off and playing about with them until I got them lined up properly, no issues since.

Loving the thread Dave.... Sorry I don't contribute to the general knowledge or help... But... I am laughing at things like...
Lambada code... Just imagining a guy in greasy overalls, smooching with a young girl, his knee jammed up her ABS sensor...
Keep up the good work!Honda CBR 1100XX Blackbird Turbo....undergoing major changes.....

Tip fit the bonnet release is take the headlights out first so you can get in easily if it gets stuck. Did you realise you can adjust the spring tension on the plunger, as well as the position of the plunger on the bonnet
position them about right, nip the up finger tight then close the bonnet and they normally sort themselves out more or less. Then just tighten them up.Panthero Coupé quattro 20vt

Some good news and some bad news.
The good news first. The car passed its mot!
I rigged up some string as a temporary bonnet opener and the mot guy was very kind to me.
Now for the bad news. During the mot I noticed oil leaking from the gearbox. It appears to be coming for this upper bolt in pic. Zoom in and you can actually see a small hole I hadn’t noticed before.
Not sure how I’m going to fix that easily.
Also, I have a small amount of play in one of my rear wheel bearings. They are brand new skf and fully torqued up.
And, the co2 on the car just scraped a pass. I have a feeling it’s something to do with that Lambada code.
One last issue. The fan kept coming on even about 5 minutes after switching off engine. Is this normal? I suspect the after run pump isn’t working so the heat isn’t being dispersed properly. Plenty more to do before I go for another run.
I had the tracking and steering geometry done at the same time. The guy said my front wheels were almost spot on. That was done by using string in the end.
