Nearly got the avant MOTd

2 problems:
Rear fog light fuse keeps blowing (comes on once, but blows the fuse straight after). Running 90 rear light panel if that makes a difference.
Also, main beam won't stay on (well sometimes). Didn't for MOT man

Brakes all done and needed CV boot, but apart from that not bad for a near 20 year old motor at 200K+ mile

Can't wait to get driving her again

For the main beam try squirting contact cleaner into the stalk at the column and wiggling it up and down loads. It should clean it up and make it work properly again. Did this to mine last year after not using the car much and it's worked a treat. Make sure you put plenty of cloth underneath to catch the fluid running out though so it doesn't make a mess. Hth's

mike, next weekend you might see a sight from the 80s on your roads that looks something like this!! we're taking the bikes up and doing a bit of training around your neck of the woods, so try not to run us over, in spite of the 80s garb! i'll be up in the tub.
