  • So.... the above information about the seats is WRONG!
    I shortened the wrong leg. I chose the outside one, it should have been the inside leg.
    The seat sits too far outward so there is no room between the cover of the seat (and
    electric buttons) and the door card. There is 4cm of room left between the seats and
    the center console.
    Now I have the cut it all off again and move it over by 4cm. This means that I also
    have to swap the front feet over again as that is a 4cm difference...



    Now I put the anthracite seat in the car it seems that I have the blue fabric seats.
    Also put new (Audi Tradition) heating pads in. Working nicely.

      • What a bloody nightmare having to redo the drivers seat... I hate doing job's twice.

        Those seats look like my black leather S6 ones in my C4, though mine aren't electric.

        • Ah well. I'll cut the bases apart again and my mate will reweld them.
          I'll take some pictures of the passenger seat when I fit the heating elements.
