    Wow!
That's impressive work Stu, makes the removal of all those hundreds of components completely worthwhile.

The past few months have been pretty good for the revival of S2's in the UK.

Here's the paint I used David.

It was pretty awkward to get the paint in and around everywhere neatly, so it’s not the best paint job I’ve ever done. I had to remind myself it is only the engine bay and you won’t see much of it when everything goes back in.

        Thanks to s2avant I picked up a 895 498 020 at the weekend.

A Servotronic steering rack seal kit.
Now all I have to do is work out where all these parts go.

Stu,are you leaving the 3b loom in then and doing the pin swap on the ecu connector so you can use that s6 ecu, like you were talking about at coombe?

            Yep. That's the plan.
I considered it from the start, then decided I would go that route after Tom had the nightmare with the ABY loom swap, and I know Tommy Arnberg has had success doing the conversion this way. I just need another 55-pin ECU plug, if anyone has an old engine loom that's no use. Sal?

At least I have a spare ECU if it all goes wrong.

It's fitted to all sorts of things between '89 and '97. Check the EL catalogue on the FA Page 972-95.

Might have a loom from a 200 you could have for parts?

Missed that Stu, cheers - I'll be on to Paints4U soon as I have a few areas to treat on mine.

I went to Basset Down Balancing today and collected a box of parts.

Very keen to know the price, off forum if you prefer?

Now have my 92.8mm crank to go with the Scat rods and on the lookout for pistons (Wossner?) and clutch.

Is the DM vibration damper new?
                                Carlos.

On the look out for less bits for my s2 saloon project. Now supporting myself by shooting for my food. www.airgunforum.co.uk
