As stated by Saltinot those are 993tt brake discs.
993 twin turbo had only 322x32 mm brake discs fitted in origin.

Right. Sorry to keep you waiting. Thanks for your interest too.
This are still very much in gear here. I've been tidying up wiring in the doors....finished finally. The rear hatch wiring is still needed. I had decided to use a rear light/fuel pump harness from a saloon thinking that there should be no differences between it and the avant harness. Yeah I know that the numbers are different, but I have found that some of these harnesses are the same even though they have different part numbers. This occurs especially between the US parts and EU parts. So back to track. I plumbed the saloon harness from the fuse box to the rear. Everything looked OK until I when to plug in the rear hatch....I was missing a connector. Live and learn right.
So I'm off to Le Mans for the 24....I can't come to Europe without picking up a few things. So into Stuckytown I go. From there I'm off through southern Germany with my A4 avant tdi to pay my Swiss friends a visit. I had rented a VW Touran, but the rental company didn't have one available in Stuttgart. They aksed if I REALLY needed a van and I said yes! The A4 avant was the closest vehicle in the stable at the moment.
First order of business is that darn harness. While there I grabbed a much needed RS2 rear diff, RS2 driveshaft, and an oil cooler/with lines. I also picked up a few other items that had been paid for for over 4 years and just sitting there waiting on my to bring them home. My belly pan, RS2 rear sway bar, and a couple of boxes holding all the parts to convert an AAN to an ABY (another project ). On to Le Mans for the race. Oh yeah, I picked up a complete RS2 head and Sachs clutch kit there too. A pretty good haul....Tommy is happy. The only down-side was that I had to guard this stuff while camping in the S2forum corral at Le Mans.
So back to the present. I had the chance while the boys were napping yesterday to install the hood release cable. Small detail but necessary. I was tired of popping the bonnet with through the headlight openings anyway.
It's a long weekend here due to the celebration of our victory over those imperialist British basterdages. Plans are to use this weekend to get a few things done. My boys my have other plans though. I would like to at least get my rear harness installed. I few pics of the differences are in order.

A few more baby steps for the RS2 this weekend
I installed the wiring harness for the outer taillights and fuel pump. Not a bad job, but time consuming. A few pictures here of the goings on.
The harness can be seen in this picture running across the bottom of the rear seat.
Half way there. The harness to the rear and to the fuel pump pictured. Also in this picture is the light control module (white box).
Once I had the harness installed I dug out the harness for the rear hatch. The hatch harness pigtails off of the rear light/fuel pump harness I just installed, BTW. The black connector in the picture below is your connection for the hatch harness.
The hatch harness had the normal broken wiring/insulation so out came the soldering iron. I used the boot harness from my old green parts car (RIP) as a donor for the correct wiring colors. It took what seemed like an eternity to cut out sections of the old wiring and solder in the the new pieces, but the results were worth it.
Now that is over with I decided to finish mounting the rear seat backs. I had just sat them in place earlier to get them out of the shipping plastic. I decided against following the Audi manual on this. Audi instructs you to separate the two halves for the install, but found it easier just to wrestle with it a little to get it into position.
I installed the seatbelts at this time. The one on the right (in the picture) with the retractor was a real pain. I couldn't figure out how it was to be oriented. I didn't have any pictures and of how they went and the way the service manual pictured it just didn't seem right either. Did I get it right?
After finishing around midnight I sat in the in back seat, shut the door and had a cold beer. Oh what a feeling.
