Remember to use glue on both sides on the headliner if you have bought the one with foam backing. It needs it!

Not had chance to do any more yet
I started cleaning all the old glue off the headlining panel last night, what a s**t job that is!! I'm not using the foam backed material like yours so the glue seems to be holding OK.

When I removed the interior A pillar trims almost all the mounting tabs broken nt sure if I broke them or they were already broken. I put a wanted thread on the forum but nobody had any with tabs in tact, so I decided to re-make them.
I had some 2mm aluminium so I cut some strips, hammered tem until they matched the profile of the trim, them cut a slot in and TIG welded ( not my best welding, need more practice on Ali ) a new tab on. Then I bonded them in place with polyurethane adhesive, checked them tonight after 24hrs curing and they are way stronger than the originals and they fit perfectly

Now I can get on with trimming them.sigpic
