Awesome, I have to give this a try, I've only recently clocked onto this. Are there any nasty bi products (gases) to consider?

I'm sure the gas produced is Hydrogen, but it's in small amounts so I wouldn't worry about it. I left mine running 24/7 in the garage and never had any problems. Just make sure you open all the doors before switching the light on

It was like Christmas at my house today, I had new bits arrive from all over the place!!

This got broken when the car was being mapped, Mark got a bit over enthusiastic with the throttle!!


I want to try this to see if it's any quieter than the Milltek that I have now which I think is a bit chavvy

I know I'm always banging on about how great the 3B engine is, but if I'm ever going to going to get the most out of the stroker the dizzy ignition is going to have to go.
Got the kit from this guy, the same place Rocco got his.

I've been down south most of this week dealing with the building of a new military vehicle so I was having a good poke around the engine and loom on that and this kit is right up there with the military spec stuff, very high quality
and as a bonus I found this in the box too

Started to work on re-building my old 3B engine now. I've stripped and measureed everything and remarkably, considering it has 190,000miles on the clock, everything is still on std size and within spec.

The block has been cleaned, honed and painted




Crank has just had the journals polished



Cleaned the sump with Mr Muscle oven cleaner, didn't get a before shot, but it was black!



Took a couple of applications and a good scrub with a toothbrush, but it came out well. Oh and Sainsburys value toothbrush's are 10p each!



Now trying to source gaskets, rings and bearings before it goes back together. Might throw in a set of rods too.
