so after seeing the failures.... Andy is high time you changed them


i ordered a set of NGK´s there in Uk...to replace mines....F5DPOR complete new.... but i dont want to damage the engine this way as others,or at least i am advised

I have followed this Bosch problems. Haven't changed to ngk myself yet but then again my car has always ran on bosch and was ok. I think the bosch quality fell either due to a bad batch or change in country of manufacture.

Bedford was awesome, first time at the place so took me the morning to pick up the track a little, which was fun in the fog, and then in the afternoon the rain came... which was great

Will post videos of Bedford when ive uploaded them.

I also had a few laps in my neighbours Renault Megane R26R which was on R888's just as the rain began to fall.. got to say i was very impressed!

On contrary, it seems to be progressing, as there is now 0 boost at times, not even spring...

It has to be the DV jamming open then, nothing else could cause
intermittent zero boost.

Wastegate can do too, but it's been replaced.
There is a check valve behind the manifold that is connected to the breather system/EVAP as well that can act up, but I am not sure if that is fitted.

Session 6 really is a quality bit of film... you can just see and hear how much of a hoot we were having in the car.

I really did have an absolutely quality day at Bedford, probably the funniest track-time yet, and will certainly be heading back when the car is running correctly.
