By the way. Does anyone know what is the way to actually make the lower door lights turn on only on the door that is actually opened? The easy way to do it is to connect it so that they all turn on together as with the interior lights. However it would be much more interesting to make it turn on only on the door that is actually open. I suspect I may need relays for that and it would get too complicated...

In continuation to the led project, I got some 12v leds instead in red color so that I don't use resistors. Once they are here I will see how and where its going to be nicer to be installed

I asked carbon works Berlin which is a company that does carbon stuff and they quoted me for a steering wheel with carbon inserts 250€+tax so roughly 300€. That is without any leather or alcantara you use thereafter. Not cheap!

put some tape over rings etc with the wheel trim.

not getting married is far cheaper though id expect.

To tell you the truth I dwelled on the options a bit. They had front aftermarket drilled ones for 110£+vat or 120£+vat for porsche original ones. No brainer then. Rear ones were aftermarket as porsche has discontinued the drilled version.

I could have gone cheaper a bit and gotten no drilled ones all over but I didn't like to have non drilled.
