I ordered one of these too, excellent service, so good that they sent me 2! One was the 100% metal INA bearing and the other a 50/50 metal/plastic bearing by LUK

Mine says luk but seems metal to me. What are the numbers on there on them both?

I bought from helix as well. Just thought in the UK. And placed the order now that I searched mid January. Likely they didn't have them in stock but didn't bother to email me.

And the rs2 decided to strand me in Manchester today. As we speak I am waiting for AA.

Clutch pedal went half light, then stayed permanently pressed and the gears wouldn't go in. Then I got a nasty clutch disk smell which lasted for a while..

Master cylinder? Bearing? Pressure plate?

Funny my greek mechanic said the same. Why would this happen? Is it worn more on short distance city driving?

Yes.

Clutches don't wear when fully engaged at all really, only when moving off, changing gear or sitting in traffic with your foot on the clutch....
