funny you mention that...i was about to scrap her as needs a bit of work, tax, mot, insurance etc but then i thought...whats that point. After a slow morning of spending lots, I've finally made some good progress again.
My efforts (and my dads) have been on the engine today. Fitting new nuts/bolts, gaskets, cleaning the rest of the sump, turbo, manifold, oil/water lines blah blah blah.
Here's what she looks like now...bring on the noise!!
before you say...yes the cam cover is dirty and not shiny...it's going for polishing soon!

with a delay to the project now on with waiting for flywheel bolts...this happens...
if karma exists in life, i have done something very bad!
1 - wind blows cupboard door open into an open container with 2litres of 15yr old transmission oil and goes all over the floor and driveway.
2 - as i clean up, there is the heaviest rain storm ever...oil now running away!
3 - fall over
4 - mad scramble to get engine inside and tools
