Bore wash is something you will only find during cold start and warm up, once warm it is no issue unless you use direct injection or changed injector position in relation to the inlet valves. So go easy on cold start enrichment.
Ethanol isn't helping bore wash with cold starts though.

Engine was bedded in on normal gasoline, not E85. On old map ...

Too bad Thomas, find a case of beer to get over the weekend and find the spirit to fix it. (again) Like Dmitri mentioned not a great deal in expenses but you could miss this like a tooth ace! Make sure you get the right turbine for the Super40, it has a different number of blades and i do think they are somewhat different in size compared to stock HX40's.

They are the same size but 10 bladed has 10-15% less maximum flow than the 12 bladed but should spool faster. So for max power find the easy to source 12 blade design. The weight is the same.

So sorry this has happened but it has made my mind up to change plugs I believe repo siad use IK22 plugs? Any definitive alternatives?

Bored are glazed. Almost no honing marks visible at all.
It was also running very rich on old map, so I think it got bore washed.

What was the grit of the honing?

In Estonia we have one car with HX40 Super running them on factory gap with E85 with no problems AFAIK.

So I think it should be OK on gasoline too.

Now, when I have recovered from the weekend, have to say that after all it was fun experience. It was nice to meet Dmitri. He is a machine! He is like the guys on Matrix who sees all as zeros and ones. You should see him writing something on the laptop, or explaining how a chip works.
