Installed all my boost pipes with T-clamps, slimline rad (still need to wire it up) and mock fitted the eBay lights which I'm not 100% sure about.

One quick question on the boots hose that connects to the metal pipe before the throttle body.

Is it supposed to rub against the rocker cover? I had to loosen off the bolts on the pipe in order to fit the hose and clip. The same pipe is also extremely tight between the can belt cover and headlight surround vertical.

Looks like you might have an ABY pipe on a 3B - the inlet manifold is different this pulls the boost pipe closer to the head / cam cover
If so you need a 3B pipe

Guess I'll start looking for a 3b pipe then to see if that makes a difference. Assume they are the same diameter!

Think I have sorted the pipes now.

Is it worth trying to salvage the battery? It's been flat for years now.

No it's the 3B pipe which is shorter at the TB end. If you fit an ABY manifold the pipe will not reach the TB hose.

But the 3B has an extra short metal pipe.

Here you go, this is 3B pipework, you can see the spacer I made between the ADU IM and the TB so the pipe would reach.

On mine you can see the clip touches the cam cover on the short piece of silicon pipe. Then you've got the short curved metal pipe which goes to the top of the shorter 3B IC hose. This short metal pipe and the short joiner piece at a bit of a pain and I ended up getting a hose like yours to go straight from IC to Pipe.

Suppose I'll leave it then, if it works then no point fiddling with it, just have to keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't run when I eventually get the ****** running.

Yeah, just check for clearance and rubs once it's going, I think I bent the lip of the slam panel up a bit so there wasn't a sharp edge bearing down on the hose.

I'm running reversed mani now so it's completely different.

I still have the short metal pipe somewhere if you want to try it.

Will look to see if I can also bend the slam panel metal a bit to give a bit more room.
