As long as you can keep them attached to the pipes, I can't see them being a disaster.

I've heard that they can't hold the boost and split

Good to know. Might need to look into it once I get her running and road legal Is there a good reason for the hose to be ribbed?

The IC is bolted to the chassis and the engine can move on it's mountings, so the ribs are there to take up the movement. However, I've used straight hose and never had problems. My 3B had a piece of straight silicon in place of the michelin hose when it was running stock setup.

You also answered my next question I think I'll give it a shot and replace it with a straight silicone pipe and see were that leads me. What diameter hose is it?

I think S4 may be different to S3.

will take it off when it stops raining. If all goes well I might have brakes

Have finished the brakes, had to take both rear calipers apart to change the seal inside. But I've hit another problem with cam sensor, so MOT will have to wait another week

I did the same as newsh and used ebay hoses for a FMIC, only split one after a few years.

You can get "hump hose" if you need a bit of give

I've hit another wall guys. Changed the cam sensor with a new unit, car starts all good, but after a certain period of time it just cuts out, as if I turned the engine off. Anyone had any issues like this, where should I look?
