My manifold is made of mild steel, jig made of the china manifold so flange location are exact same. No problems with cracking, this have been in my UrS for quite a long time wrapped and have got some serious abuse. Only problem can be corrosion/rust, but I didn't look under the wrap.
Old jig:
My first diy manifold... made back in 2010... still going strong.
PS. If someone has the stainless china manifold, and it has cracked, and you need a replacement for it. I could make you an mild steel manifold with the same dimensions. No need for intake/dp modifications.
One example of a sold manifold:

Ev14 is better in every way. I also got a small sponsor discount from Finjector, so they where almost free. Quite cheap injector at normal price also, ~50e/pcs.

Right now im in the middle what to do with injectors for hx35/k26. Was thinking about dekas ~630cc because i have heard that there has been problems with bosch motorsport type on injectors. Enyways you advice to choose bosch ones? Lenght is the same as original right? PnP?1990 2.2 20VT Audi Coupe Quattro

What kind of problems? I havn't heard of any. Only problem I know about is that Bosch can't get out enoug injectors on the market, they tend to be sold out...
Lenght is the same and connectors are direct fit. Only the stock locking clips won't fit, the injectors don't go deep enough in the rail. But that would not be a problem. Seems that the price has gone up a bit. http://www.finjector.com/verkkokaupp...-p-719646-186/

Had some time today... Freezing weather and car covered in ice, but now it's melting in the garage. Stripped the bumper and radiator...
Removed the engine from UrS to get the flywheel and clutch.
Just to see that the sinter pads and friction plate is in quite bad shape. Need to machine the surface and I may buy a new plate as switching the pads cost almost the same.
As the battery cables goes to the trunk but there is no battery tray, I bought a battery box and made brackets to secure the battery in place. Havn't fitted it yet in the trunk though.

Got new pads for the clutch disc. Drilled out the old pads, and made a special rivet tool, so it was quite easy to rivet new ones.
