Ah yes, it’s not a relay plate it’s a resistor plate for the different fan speeds
I see. This great forum has save the day again. What would I do without you guys
I still need to know where it attaches to the car. I might be able to work it out tomorrow.
I did wonder what that rusty bit of metal was in the bottom of the parts box!
There isn't much left in there now. However, there is a grubby o ring left

In your first mystery wiring picture the larger 3 pin plug Deffo looks like fan switch as has been said, will the other 2 reach your alternator? It looks like you have the large cable connected up but on mine (90 amp 7a unit) there is the exciter wire also connected on the back and I'm sure that is a pair of wires...
OK first pic as said already, 3 ring terminals to the fan resistor, mounted on the horn bracket behind the bottom of the washer tank. 3 pin is the rad fan thermo-switch.
2nd pic, 3 pin is gearbox speed sensor, 2 pin is reverse light switch on right side of gearbox.

I did the MarkH mod on the intercooler.
There is some damage to the crossmember which means I can’t seem to fit a clip on the top of the hose.
It’s been squashed slightly.
Can anyone help with the missing part from my airbox?
This is the maf end
The latest batch of parts got soaked overnight in Detox. Came out nice and clean.
Had to move the oil cooler back slightly as it was in contact with the top crossmember. It was easy as the aux rad fittings are slotted.
Looking at the last pic, looks like I’m going to have to paint the intercooler. It looks rough.
