Just bought a pair of newly renovated 996 calipers for the s2

Looking forward to getting them on.

Guess iam looking at some new brackets, RS2 brakelines and A8 disc, in which size? And some textar pads?

Yeah I kinda paid to much for them, I paid 500 euro including shipping. I guess it was around 100 euro to much Just got a bit carried away doing the ebay auction

Nice project, thinking about doing something similar. I like the looks too. would be interested in some more pictures of the door panels. 500€ for 4 pot 996 calipers doesn't seem too much to me, didn't see a pair for less than that these times.
Go on like that, its going to be nice.

Those are 996 calipers, BUT:

Is it only me , who see rear calipers in the photos? That means, that you can not use A8 disc (it's too thick).

What are part numbers? I honestly hope, that it's only photos done this way, but I'll give 99%, that those are 996 rear items.

Well that would be very strange since the part no. acording to the auction is 996.351.425/426 which are front calipers. And the calipers are described as front 996 calipers in the ebay article, so if this is not the case, then I will get my money back from the seller The seller has a very good reputation and a rate of 100 over 300 deals, mainly he sells refurbed calipers.

Is part number matching real number on calipers themselves? It's quite popular to reuse auction photos, and not use actual ones.

About the calipers, neither the front nor the rear 996 calipers have 30mm disks (28mm/24mm), so how did the others do it??? what disk is to use with a 996 caliper?

But I would say that the seller has reputation that is to good to be cheating.

So tomorrow is the big day, Iam going to try and fit my 996 calipers

Think I have all the parts, so Iam hoping it will go smoothly.
