I will add those to my shopping list.

Now, these lovely 10.9 grade bolts only ordered yesterday arrived. I was missing all my rear brake bolts so had to get everything new.

    A quick test fit

And we are good apart from the cam adjuster. The metal is too thick.

I see from another thread in here that 928 brake shoes might need a little grinding to get to fit.
Anyone know a set that fits without grinding? The set I have are ABS brand.

The problem with the wheel nuts is they can break off at the base so you have no way of getting them out other than drilling. I would definitely consider the new titanium ones from Porsche

On the lookout for a pair of these if anyone has any knocking about.
It's the guide tube for the handbrake cable.

    Thanks to RXL for pic

So I popped then in the ultrasonic cleaner.

    Came out nice and clean.

They are not as bad as they initially appeared. I will do some testing with a socket to see how well they fit. All the wheel contact points are corrosion free.

The wheel hubs got a coat of satin black and look good.

Going to make a start on the rear hubs and brakes. Anyone btdt tell me the assembly order please?

I would seriously check out the titanium ones Porsche use them now in place of the alloy ones I think, the original RS2 ones are about £12 each too

They are original alloy ones. Not great condition. I need to have a good look to see if I'm going to use them or get new.

Just looking at the wheel nuts are they original RS2 light alloy ones or after market type? I had a nightmare with one of mine sheering off at the base, as you can imagine it was massive grief trying to get the base off had to drill it out damaging the wheel. after that I went for the titanium ones much stronger and still very light

Then I fired up the heater and they got some zinc.

Talking of zinc, the plating is going slowly but getting there. I think I either need to increase amps or reduce the amount of things I'm plating at one time.

Here are some that Alex (Error) made a much better job of that will be going on the car.

I wish Alex had some more stock available in his shop. I could spend a fortune!

I think this is the selection I bought. I found I had two left that fitted well

If you want to try and order individually here are the measurements.

I decided to keep them oe (black)

The joints are nice and clean inside.

Fresh grease worked into the joints.

New boot fitted with copper wire to hold it tight.

    Next job is the hubs.

And how do i tell the difference between the front and rear hubs? Two have one larger hole in the rim.

    Edit
Found a pic. The ones with bigger hole are rear.
