  • I read pisobikers thread and there is the following:
Next step was the oil gallery going to the head, the one where both the oil pressure senders are located.
Ended up being the FU***ING one way valve being stuck closed....
The damned thing costed half a day of work, 3 liters of coolant (had to unbolt main radiator again) and 5 years of my life for the worry.

i will check this out today and see

    1. if turbo feed has oil (or oil filter) so i can confirm that the pump is sealed properly.
    2. ckeck valves

if that doent work then more oil to get over the girdle and check what happens....

    • Ok! It's ****ed up!

Poured more oil in and water came out of the turbo feed line!
Oil filter is full with water!!! WTF

I believe that the machine shop ****ed it up during grinding to make room for the rods!
      Any ideas?

      Fortunately turbo is ok!

            • It's a new VDO oil pressure sender, but it has the wrong thread on it. It has an M10 taper thread not a paralell one. Not 100% certain that is staying on yet, it seems to work OK but I need to see if it leaks when the engine is running.

Do you have any pics of how much they ground out to make clearance for the rods? I'm not sure that this is the cause of water in the oil, if they took out too much I think you'd just break into the oil passage and have a massive oil leak. This may explain the lack of pressure, but not water in the oil filter.

                  • The corner on top was plugged with a threaded bolt + sealer.

I have the pictures for the clearance of the block-rod. I gave them pictures so they know what to do!

                      • Yes oil and water is out and I tried to spray inside with wd40. Tomorrow morning am going to remove the oil pan and clean-oil everything so no further damage happens. Hope that because I oil everything there will be no damage from the water.

                        • Thats special engines for you! either awesome or a pain!

When you have the sump off, I would refill the water system whilst looking with a torch. Hopefully the problem will show its self!

                          All the best!

                          • I did those 2 places as in pisobikers thread. Is there something else that needs blocking?

                            • OK, problem found! Someone had the idea to open this hole.....maybe he thought that this should be that way! Question now is: should i weld it or should i thread it and screw a bolt in?
