        Back to the topic...

Recieved parts for the air intake from "Intake Hoses dot com". Got a 4" -> 3,5" 90 degree reducer, a 3,5" straight sleeve and a reducing insert(3,5" -> 4") for the cone filter. Have to do a 3,5" part of stainless tubing with bypass- and N75 inlets... Hope I can get them fitted properly, there is not too much space. Well, I have a couple of advisers though.

Maybe I should get rid of the SMIC to get everyone satisfied? The reason why I left the OE SMIC on its place was because the front IC is blocked quite well by the bumper.

After the engine rebuild I did more holes on the bumper to use on track without the plate.

When I installed the FMIC I couldn't tell any difference in lag, pressure, or anything so I really don't know if this dual IC install has any benefits or disadvantages... What do you gurus think?

Get rid of stock IC, too much pressure drop for over 450hp.

Ok, I could made a single tube and fit the MAF on the pressure side between the FMIC and intake manifold, with really gradual reducing from 3" to 3,5"...

You can try, but if it maxes out earlier than it should, then I will just go like "I told you so"

This MAF is actually designed to be happy on the pressure side of things, so it should work just fine there.

Ok, I'll try to get the intake and maf fitted before the turbo, get rid of the stock IC, switch the 044 fuel pump and fit the aquamist, then we would be ready for mapping.
