I just readed all from page 1...uff so much going on,what's going on now with the car?

Couldn't get rid of the oil burning and smoking issue, so I decide to do a low budge build for the winter, so I can keep the car running and study what's wrong with the engine.

I'm going to re-use everything I can with this build. Still had my old AAN block and and stock pistons(with rings) and they seemd to be in spec, h-beam rods, remembered that I also had a crank I bougt from Alex(Error404) 1-2 years ago. I even going to re-use the main bearings and some sealings. Had a bounch of old bearings and checked the best ones. Have a lot of leftover sealings from Reinz kits, and still have old oilpan gaskets which is going to be fine re-used.

The only new parts I did buy for this was:

- Rod bearings Kolbenschmidt sputter - 68,50 euro
- Headgasket Victor Reinz - 45 euro
- Main bolts M10x80 10.9 - 10 euro
- Head bolts ARP - 190 euro
- Used non-balanced AAN dampper - 50 euro




One of my old rods was defect because of spun bearing, so I got a new(used) one from a mate. When I recived it(with a piston) it look't fine. But later I relised I can't use it, here you see why:



After light grinding the old rod seem'd fine after all so all five is now ok...
