Can be spark missing also, the dwell is quite conservative in your tune, the coils just might need more dwell.

Ok. Little too much on rich side and some boost, propably the coils just havn't the needed juice to ignite the mix. That could be the cause for the cutouts. But have to resolve why it's suddenly runns richer... can't be the fuel. Have to check the timings so the belt hasn't jumped a tooth.

It can also run richer if your current setup breathes worse than your previous setup.
Also, if you changed the amount of boost it gets, that can change how it runs as well.
I usually make the areas that were not mapped for pig rich, so that if something happens for some reason and the boost goes where it shouldn't he engine does not blow up.Comment

The fact that it has gone richer and richer with same setup can sure be that it's have been on different boost level when I have been testing. Another thing can be the cat, if it has start to molten and has clogged up..? I'll guess it affects the engine flow... Ex temps arn't high so this will propably not be the problem. Have to check it anyway.

Havn't had any time for the car, but I propably figured out why it's running richer and why I got cutouts. It started to do that badly on the trackday. The wastegate doesn't work. It's maybe the turbosmart controller or the wg itself. I screw the controller to zero and it's still boosting over 2bar. Can't say how much because my boost gauge only shows 2bar, the needle goes to ~2,2bar. LOL, maybe it boost something like 3+bar, no wonder why the small hose popped off the ecu, and why it cuts... it also explains why it run pig rich, if it's using a total wrong area of the map.
Have to connect back the N75 and see. If it's not helping then the WG has seized or the diaphragm is broken. Good thing is that the head gasket have held out nicely and the IM havn't exploded.

And that's exactly the reason why I map the unvisited/unmapped areas pig rich with late timing.
This is the reason why you still have the engine in one piece.Comment

Yes, gauge for man boost is a good idea.
As for holset turbos - everyone this side of the world runs them, and I mean everyone.
Compared to Garrett they are nigh indestructible.Comment

This would be a nice gauge
http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motors...bo-boost-gauge
In diesel applications they boost up to 3-5 bar with Holsets.

Something like 2 euro fail. Too soft hose used, need to have some braiding...

The IM seemed that is has had difficulties to hold against the pressure. Would be fun to know how big the pressure has been..?

Nothing fancy happend here. Got the 3bar boost gauge. Shouldn't bee any trouble to read it, even without glasses, it's sure big enough.
Only have trouble to decide where to fit it..? Really nice and friendly custom service at JJC race and rally where I ordered it from. Had to change one item in the order, and they didn't even bill mee of the extra £10 what the other item was.

Got also a kit of wheel studs. Easier to fit different size spacers if wanted, and faster to change the wheels. Fitted the studs with some Locktite.
