              Nice goodies

One question about the caliper/disc combo though, assuming the brake pads are fitted, don't you think there is quite a bit of the disc uncovered by the caliper/pads?

yes i had the same thought, the pads are not as big as i was expecting but AP's seem to be like that
need some help with alt brackets and powersteer brackets too( see my other post)
                  thanks

                      bit more of an update
seeing as i couldnt get alternator bracket i had to make something up

this photo is very dark think the camera had a moment but shows that i had to put two idlers in ,one where the tension should be and one between crank and alternator

this shot shows it better and the adjustment is now on the alternator also show oil cooler and adaptor for throttle body also made a oil catch can made from old v6 header tank should have made one from ally but time doesnt allow

                        got the exhaust started

i lowered the gearbox mount on the rhs so i could get the dump over it and into the exhaust tunnel
screamer pipe where the exhaust should have been

during the work fit the injector rail i had to remove the inlet mani so thought id get a pic

engine builder has done well, would not have been much fun oringing this

changed the cam cover for the older style , looks more old school and the plug leads fit better

car is away at the moment getting the wiring done so hopefully it will be ready to start this coming weekend. then run in and tuned on the hub dyno next week.
hoping to have a run in the classics at the OZ WRC in sept so the clock is ticking
                            thanks
