    We now have gears.

Also started tying the rear subframe front mounts into the cage.

Started on the drivers door bars but was about 400mm short of 45mm bar. Also got some bars in going forward to the front strut turret and made a front strut brace. Fitted all the mount plates for the 6 point harness too. Almost all the welding on the chassis is done now thank fkkk.

Also sent the vems ecu away to have it checked over and get a few upgrades done.

My friend Neil helped remove the loom when he was up stripping his s4 2.7tt gearbox which has a mangled 1 2 shift collar and a wore out 2nd syncro.

I finished off welding on the chassis and got some primer and epoxy on were was left.

Just need to rub it all down and blast on some red too coat.

Fuel tank arrived. Foam filled with vdo drop gauge and an fittings.

Interior rubbed down and a heavy coat of 2 pack primer on it. Needs rubbed down in places and filled here and there but it's getting there.

                Coming along nicely Des.

The fuel delivery setup costs a few bob. The AN fittings aren't cheap are they.

Whats the timeline looking like for first run?

Yea hopefully starting the engine within the month... Just spend 450 quid on fittings and ptfe lined hose for the fuel system. It's nuts prices.

Got a fair bit done. Fuel system almost finished. Just waiting on a few more bits and bobs.

1200 cc ev14 injectors fitted. I modified the stock fuel rail with 8 an fittings and its connected to the aeromotive pressure regulator.

Got the brake system made up with the new pipes and fittings. All has been blead and I even have a decent pedal.

am curious how your brake pedal gonna feels like while driving without a brake vacuum booster?
I mean how much power you have to put the pedal to stop decent

I am also interested in how much effort I will need to use on the brake peddle too. I asked a few guys that used a bias peddle box and they said that the small master cylinder for the front really helps and the peddle will be stiffer that stock but have lots more feel. I can always fit a remote servo later.

a small master cylinder for the front is good for brakepower but the disadvantage is that you have a much longer pedal travel when you use big calipers in the front
my origional master cilinder was not good enough for the 8 pot k-sport calipers, for my old 6-piston calipers it was ok

I have the d2 8 pot calipers which are the same as you ksport. How were your brakes with these? What master cylinder did you have? What pads did you use. I have ds3000. And 330mm?
