A while since last update. Christmas and new years celebrations took it's time and effort so not much time spent in the garage.
Well few days ago i collected the brake pads/brake scream pads for the calipers so i could start with the assembly of the brakes. Before i started with the brakes i had to change the front outer CV-joint rubber-boots. Left side was completely destroyed and right was on it's way, so that had to be done. I must say that im suprised how good the condition of bolts/subframe is on the car if i compare to how my UrS4 was. Today/yesterday i changed both rubber-boots in the front and mounted the rear discs/brake-calipers. Front discs and brake-calipers will be mounted soon i hope
Drive shaft with new rubber-boot:

Drive shaft inner fasteners cleaned, suprised with no rust..:

Old scream-dampers that was no good

Got some small but nice parts today. Front end original parts, grill + front net. Sure the car already have those, but you never know when they are "gone for ever" So i made an "investment" again, don't tell the girlfriend...
Mr Cat inspector ( Norwegian Forest Cat) Inspects the parcel as always

Some hours spent in the garage yesterday and today. Changed the old grill to the new one. Changed out the "air intake" bits for fog lights, and mounted the new indicator lights. Also changed out the net on the bumper for new fresh ones.
New grill mounted:

Fresh air inlet net for the bumper, new grill, new fog lights and indicators, starts to look good:

Will continue with the front brake assembly as soon as i have the brake shields home. Some stupid owner/mechanic had cut them in half for acces to the lower ball joint i think.. Instead of removing them, nice work there
Wheel nuts is back from anodizing, sure they are better than before but not very good, will see how it looks when i put the wheels back:

Audi called today and told me my parts had arrived from Audi Tradition. New front brake shields and also an air guide to the air filter box.
More bolts will be left to galvanizing some day to. I'm missing one piece to the air guide assembly to the air filter box, (895 805 965A) i think it´s the same as on S2. If some one have one for sale in good condition and are able to ship to Sweden i'm interested to buy.

Got some work done today in the garage.
Made new brake lines for the front calipers as the old ones was destroyed when i removed them. They had siezed between the pipe/nipple.
Mounted all stuff to the car to make sure i have no issues. I will mount it for real when i get my bolts for the brake shields back from galvanizing.
The wheelhousings will get a good clean when i get the car outside, lots of grease from the cv-joints as the rubber was broken. But also lots of old dirt.
Calipers/discs mounted to the car temporary:

A week a go i left the spare rim for rufurbish at the rim refurbish shop. I wanted to see how they turned out as i wanted the original (as far as i know) paint 61M, Diamantsilber.
The rims are dipped to get off old paint, checked for damage/roundness and then painted/clearcoted with powdercoating.
They turned out good looking i think. The center cap looks like it is the same colour/metallic.
Will leave the other 4 wheels some day soon. Otherwise not so much has been done, the brakes are fitted correctly/bleeded and seems to be good.
Some pictures of the freshly refurbed rim with new tire fitted:

Hello! Today i had in mind to put the air ducts to the airfilter on the car. The car didn't have any parts of the air duct to the filter housing for some reason, so that had to be fixed. Thought it would be a quick and nice Sunday work
It took a little longer time then expected and lots moore parts needed to come of than i thought. After a few hours i got it assembled and im happy.
Lots of brittle plastic parts vs old car is not my cup of tee... Anyway here is some pictures of the parts installed:
