Been thinking about changing the fuel lines. I guess I would need to source a ABY/ADU set?

Also had to do some adjustments to the rotor cap. Removed the black plastic cap and grinded some of the red inner part. I guess it dont matter since I aint really using the rotor cap. Also had to use the bracket to hold the heat shield since it won't fit in the holes on the intake pipe.



Just a shot of the engine after it was all finished, just need to redo the polish of the intake pipe.

Starting to install my Eboost2

Began installing my Eboost2 today:

Had to get the wastegate cap welded shut because it was leaking. But sadly it is leaking through the a little hole in the welding (see circle).
So need to get it welded again or perhaps I could use some kinda silicone based sealer. Any suggestions?



Installed the new Eboost solonoid valve, and made this ugly bracket Think I will round the corners and perhaps paint it black.




And I will put the Eboost gauge here in the left vents, just need to figure how to get holder that will fit in there. I wrote an email to Gerd that makes the tripple gauge holder and asked him if he could make a double gauge holder with one center hole. That would be lovely.

I totally forgot I have the eBoost valve in the garage to try sometime - just as heavier duty replacement for WGFV.

How tidy do you want it looking? If you aren't fussed with mess or want a short-term solution, lodge a X-shape of MDF into the vent and fix it to that. Otherwise, dremel a hole out of the vent grille and glue it in.

Drilling a hole in the vent wont work since the gauge is Ø60 and it is actually bigger then the vent itself.

I do like the MDF idea as a temporary solution.

If you want a more permanent solution, pain the MDF satin black and glue it in place. How does the gague attatch to wherever it's supposed to be mounted?

Great news

So got the eboost2 installed and a wastegate cap with an intact seal.

For now I'm running with stock settings on the eboost2, and I'm using dual port setup that vents to atmosphere.

Was out for 30 minutes playing around, only adjusting the set point = max boost pressure.

Launch in 3 gear:



Launch in 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
With motronic I was not able to get the same boost through gears etc. It would go up in 2nd, down in 3rd and so on. However I do need to play around with the eboost2 a bit more to see how I can get the boost hold to be a bit more stable at the top. And perhaps come on a bit faster. But I'm pleased so far

why not try a piece of plexi glass as a holder?


looking at your graphs and seeing where you want it set..what is that max boost you can run on the turbo with out overspinning it?

I gonna make a stainless steel plate, getting it laser cut at work.

I can run 1.8 bar peak and I think 1.5-1.6 bar at redline. So not quite there yet, but as mentioned I have not really done any adjustments yet.

Full boost at just over 3000 RPM

Currently running 0.9 bar wastegate spring with dual port setup using eboost2. Running 23 PSI peak at the moment and then 19-20 PSI at redline.

Today I vent for a little drive and did some logging with my zeitronix, I wanted to see how fast I could get full boost at 23 PSI.

First run is from 2500 RPM in 4th gear and then full throttle and it hits full boost around 3100 RPM



2nd run from 2900 RPM in 4th gear and hits full boost at 3300 RPM.



3rd run is in 5th gear from 2600 RPM and hits full bost just around 3100 RPM



Very pleased with the eboost and much stable boost curve then with the N75.

Tomorrow I'm gonna try to do some runs and try to log 100-200 km/h etc. with my new MaxQdata.com software.

Bought these babies off ebay.com from FiveOMotorsport, 5 brand new light green injectors for the price of 170£ Seems that these are used on the Ford Pickup SVT lightning



They also seem to have the 4 hole spray pattern like the RS2 injectors.
