this rods are fine.. it is not damage on rods , they are heat from bearing.

No, it havn't spin. This is rod nr. 3, it has only got some heat. Rod nr. 1 is worsest, the bearing has spin in it, and propably I need to raplace it.



If someone has a Aron's rod for sale, please make a offer.

All rod weights was between 592-593g. All pistons 303-304g. Total weight including pin, rings and clips 1kg.

It's not sanded, it's factory finish, Aronmatics rods. The bearing was bad and had heated up some.

give it a quick clean up with some scotch-brite that should bring it up without removing much material at all...a few microns if that...

Got the waterjackets done to the blocks, thanks to my friend. Tomorrow the engine shop takes the other one for boring and they mill the deck clean also.




Got also Rusty's billett coolant pipe for the block. Really nice quality!

Ordered some parts for the block, new check valve, oil squirters, oil pressure sender, oil temp sender and the breather assy.

Thanks. Well, actually the thanks goes to my work mate, he did great job with them.

Shipped out the crank(damper, flywheel + other needed parts) this week for balancing. Propably takes a week or two before I get them back, then the assembly can begin.

Got the bottom end from the machine shop. Crank is balanced to zero with bobweights, added damper and flywheel and also balanced to zero. Funny, didn't find any balancing bores on the flywheel and pressure plate. Maybe they are at zero from the factory..? Fidanza alu-flywheel and SRE-pressure plate.

Cleaned and painted the block when I waited for some parts...




Finally today the ordered parts arrived, new breather assy, oiltemp sensor to the pump, all oilsquirters and the check valve.




Should recieve new CP-piston pinns this or next week, and must order the oilpressure sender and oilpressure switch.
