Except you already have big MAF and 440 hp on dyno with GT3071R/K26, and still not happy

Makes almost no difference, because the amount of fuel you will be using will be the same.
It would only be an issue if your injectors were not big enough with 3 bar, but would be big enough with 4 bar.
If you are not using 100% injector with either setup, then do whatever you want.

    • Ok, thanks. Would be safer to use the injectors at 4bar/1000cc.

Some practicing with my tig welder. It's so nice and peacefull to weld with the tig compared to mig with all sparks flying alround.

        • If you have 1000cc injectors, then use 3 bar for better idling capability.
Although EV14 probably will idle fine at 4 bar as well, but at this size injector sizing does start to matter.

Those injectors in the picture look like EV1's to me though.
Are those just a test fit, or are you going to be using EV1's?

If so, DEFINITELY 3 bar fuel pressure, they'll be all over the place.

Noo, those in the pic are my "old" 440cc(3bar) greentop's, have been used at 4bar though. Those are soon fore sale if someone is interested, almost new, used for 6000-7000km. They are NLA nowadays. Good injectors though.

My EV14's waiting for the map day.

are you using the fiveo motorsport ones or the finjector versions?....

                    • I will use those in the pic, Fiveo ones. Don't see any reason why these would not be good. I remember the thread of the adapters but if the o-ring goes deep enough there should not be issues. There are also no edge on this rail you can lock the clips to.

Haha, if you are lucky. First what I did, was opening it and tighten the big power leads. All was loos, and one nut had dropped to the bottom of the "chassis". But it seems to work fine... for now.

                              • Bit of OT, but:
                                - Did you try the plasmacutter yet?
                                - Does it use compressed air line as input (don't think it has an internal one)?
                                - Do you have to make an arc on your product to start it?
                                - How about the torch & hose package quality?
                                - Does it use DIN/ISO connectors so you can swap it for a 'decent' one in case it fails?

I'm still in doubt about buying a chinese clone, but damn, this is like 1/12th the price of a A-class AC/DC TIG + Plasma cutter... Too bad it isn't watercooled
