a guy down southampton way had 321bhp on a 3b running a tubular manifold, super unleaded and the same mapping technique as automark uses. The turbo was proper screwed when it was removed but went well for what it was.

It has been only indoors so I don't know yet, tomorrow we see, after cooling down over the night. Minus 10 degrees here now.

Hope not. It depends on how tight the MOT guy is. This guy who checked the car now wouuld propbly have let the car pass last time. Really nice guy, not too tightass.

This is expected. The timing has to be modified and also the enrichment...

It's not so easy to get the cold start right with E85...
Well, get it indoors for now.

What do you have in the car? Still the summer blend of E85? If it is the summer blend I am not sure it is at all possible to start the car in -10C.
With winter blend and lots of tuning it should start.

Can you buy a DEFA electric warming system for the engine block, so you can plug it in?
This should not be very expensive...

Alternatively, I can send you a chip, that you can change in the ECU and you can use gasoline for now? I can add a button to switch maps too in the future if you need.

Let me know... I don't want you to miss all the fun in the winter
Maybe I should take a weekend trip to Finland, I really want to see this car run!

I have the DEFA block heater. I had it plugged for a hour and a half and the car fired up nicely, no problem. -8 degrees outside. Summer blend E85, tank almost full. Could fill few liters of gas, maybe it helps also..?

You could, but I think it could start with -8C with some more warmup-enrichment.
