Engine started well and seems to run fine, no leaks yet. Had it running for a couple of hours today, drove the car for a good trip. Tomorrow I will retorque the headbolts, drain, flush and put in new coolant, assembly the interrior, etc...
The short shift feels superb, really stiff and quick. Have to found a longer/bigger shift knob. Like to have it higher up, closer to the steering wheel. The movements are so short now that you can easily raise it ~100mm. A simpple 120mm long and 30mm in diameter knob made of alu or delring would be nice. Like this:

Had a boring night, so I decide to do a knob prototype. In the lack of round material square have to do... and in the lack of a lathe a belt sander had to do...
It will go ~20mm lower when I get the thread done, need to found a 12x1.5 taper.

Checked the spark plugs today. Oil burning seems to be zero with this engine. What a difference to the previous engine where all the sparks was always black of carbon and sometimes oily. E85 doesn't build up carbon and soot as you can see of these plugs.
