You should be using a quickspool valve!

It's ca. 63cm. Of course your oil line lenght depends of the ex-manifold you use.

Installed trackdensity transmission mounts, got lightly used ones from Mark.se, thanks for superfast shipping. The old stock mounts was in quite bad shape.

Had some time to start the fuel line uprating...

Needed to mod the stock rubber mounts to fit 12mm piping.

you know what - if you change the fuel lines at the larger diameter for better flow, then you need to change the fuel pressure regulator!

what are those fuel lines made off??......I have often wondered about using stainless tubing....

did you get the lines swaged locally or have you found somewhere that sells kits?...

Sure. I'm using a Mallory 4305M FPR. AN8 in and out.

I just bought a 6m bar of 12x1mm stainless hydraulic piping, swaged them my self with the tool in the pic. That tool cost me 7,90e, the pipe was a little bit expencier. Well, it should hold someting like 100-200 bar.

Yes, it will be pressed into it's place, no threads. Just use a flat screwdriver, but it can be really tight. Are you sure it is the assy that is leaking and just not the beather pipings?

You should get the "breather assy" from your local VAG-dealer, part number 054103129.

Oops, ok, I'm not sure what swaged means. Was assuming it means shaping or bending etc..? http://www.thefreedictionary.com/swaged

Btw, if you want to use a quick spool valve, I can write some logic that will open and close it at a given set point using one of the spare outputs on Motronic.

Ok, perhaps we should leave that for later tweakin. Have to draw a line somewhere, other wise I don't get the car ready till the summer.

Got the fuel lines almost ready...

Still have a small dilemma in the rear... The stock fuel hoses seems to go in a interestin route.

The Mallory FPR. But I just realised that it's the wrong model. It should be 4305M(30-100 PSI)and this is 4307M and only for 4-25 PSI. have to shange it.
