For the fan problem I'd have a good look at the wiring on the resistor pack.

You can remove 3rd realy from the fuse panel, when the fan kicks in, to make sure it is the after run module, whats causing it.

How can bad contacts cause a running fan? Bad contacts on the resitor can cause a NOT running fan.
As I said before, resistor is just a dumb passive element. It is not powered. It can get power only through relay controlled by afterun module or relay controlled by thermoswitch on radiatior.
Both power inputs for the resitor will end up in a relay. Blue and red on schematic.

I thought it was time to fill up the washer reservoir. I did and then drip drip drip from underneath!
So, bumper off (again).
And jack up left side of car to give access.
It seems to be the grommet for the washer pump. I tried removing it and cleaned it in hot washing up water and replaced it. Good for a few mins but then started leaking again.
Anyone have a good spare?

Car is looking great - I'm hoping to pay you a visit this year in mine like we said... Detailing didn't happen last year - But will be very soon!
I'm having the same fan issue, which started while it was sat garaged! Been through all the tests like you (found the same page etc) - Save me scanning back over the thread - What number relay is it and where did you source one from? PM if you prefer.

Nice to hear from you again.
The part number for the relay is 447965571a. TPS do them but rxl got me one a bit cheaper from Germany.
My theory is that the circuit within the relay is sensitive to repeated power disruption.
Kettle is always on if you fancy a spin out west. Cheers

Cheers Dave. What kind of money are we talking, from memory I recall they are pretty expensive! If you cant remember Ill give TPS a call on Monday - Last year I tried some spare (same) relays I had, but either that is not the issue or I have a few knackered relays!

There’s a little electrolytic cap in there which maybe dries out, I will have to try replacing it!
