i had to make a few more changes to the fuel enrichment table, and it seems that mine in the end tends to need less than 106 on small throttle angles and about 106 on higher throttle angles. Also i readjusted the fuel cut settings and it eliminated the idle dip when the car goes to neutral.

i have to find some time to do some more idle testing though so as to make it even better.

here is a more recent photo...needs a wash unfortunatelly!

i know that Rob (GT500) has 3mm spacers in front, but nothing at the back, but his 18inch are 8.5 width and different ET i think

2 days ago, i found a small hose from the back of the IM that goes to the PCV system torn. I rerouted some of the vaccum hoses and checked for leaks of the system and i think that the problem i get with the idle not being able to go below 940rpm is the fact that the 70mm TPS is not sealing properly as it should.

I may need to make a new one with Aelred which has better seal to be able to have a wider margin of correction with the idle valve. ATM i need to have the valve completelly shut on warm engine to keep the idle at 900ish rpm and the rest is done by ignition timing adjustment.

Not bad, and actually could stay as it is, but im a control freak...

today i did a bit more fiddling so i managed to get the idle speed stable with the DC above 30 (not 40 unfortunately) but that's ok as it is nicely controlled now.

i also did some runs today to see the differences in the timing and the WI use.

here are 2 nice logs, on the 4th gear pull. Notice the reduced IAT on the WI which is always welcomed!

(on the second image, as EGO freeze was on, the lamda is very low, but that is fixed on the + WI run.So pay no attention to the EGTs as they are not comparable.)

After fixing the leak my boost is coming a bit faster again! yeah!
Now its on 4th gear around 3850-3900 when i get 2bar and on 3d gear i have it on 4100ish (previously about 100-200rpm later) amazing what a boost leak can do. From no symptoms to very significant symptoms!

Wheel alignment done and a bit of cleaning yesterday.

funnily enough after the wash, the idle was kept on 1800rpm and the TPS was at 1.6% why?

so i took out the ISV to see if it was sticking on one hand, then tried to see if there was anything wrong with the TB. Readjusted everything, and it droped to 0.8%

Recalibrated the TPS, and everything went back to normal, with the pleasant welcome of the idle going to 940-950 with the DC of the ISV now being at 33!!! I had to readjust the PID a bit, but now its much nicer!

                              small bling update.

lavamat cover to ... cover the alloy heat/sound absorbers.

although night time and crappy phone photo, i think it looks much better!
