On Sunday 07/02/10 the network which the forum server runs on was the target of massive DDOS (distributed denial of service) attack. The amount of traffic got so high that it was causing the data centre and carrier switches to queue up massive amounts of traffic and affect the network performance for everyone downstream. At 5am the carrier isp put a block on our IP range to stop the attack, thus blocking all connectivity to any server hosted on the same network as the forum.
