Few months gone. Nothing big happend here, have been quite busy with other things. But always something small done... like getting ideas and collecting parts.

Yes, it's 1-2 gears with custom ratios. 1st is 2.80 and 2nd 1.82. Dog engagement should give slight faster shift than syncro. Also shaft is thicker with chevy spline.

Supercharged down low torque, horse head size turbo, and now aided gearing... I guess bad 1/4 mile times is then caused by the driver, haha.

Nice ! Are you gonna build neutral gear release lever? I mean lever that you pull and push shiftstick to shift neutral no matter what gear is in. It could be useful but not necessary

No, not yet. I propably have to modify the switch plates some, to get the gear change work properly. Have to get the cable links first...

Propably not, it would make it more complex and I like to keep it simpple. Should work like an motorbike gerabox. Only thing could be a lock for the reverse gear, so you don't try to grind it on on the move.

i like your shifter thomas but i think you have no longer a good feeling in the gearshifter when you are shifthing the gears and there is something wrong

Nick, yes your right. It can be a problem with the synchro gears. For dog gear it's just the better the faster the change is. But as I still will have synchros in 3-6 there can be some difficulties with too fast shifts.

Main lever has push/pull hooks which rotate the shaft with 2 discs that act as cams to position the 2 rocker arms that will cable or rod actuate the selector?
